A repeat opportunity for employees to attend the UNMC Performance Leadership Seminar will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater.
Employees who directly supervise other employees are invited to attend the 60-minute discussion on performance leadership. The first such seminar on campus took place this spring.
“As managers and supervisors, it is our job to provide the tools and environment necessary to help our ‘most important resource’ – employees – be successful,” said Rod Kelly, director of Strategic Staffing at UNMC. “The seminar is open to all who hire, fire, direct and evaluate the performance of employees.”
Kelly said that the seminar will cover several topics, including:
- From Performance Management to Performance Leadership;
- next line to be bulleted
- Whose job is it anyway?;
- What do the experts say?;
- Integrating NU Values Competencies; and
- Demonstrating Performance Leadership Practices.
For those who can stay, there is an additional 30 minutes for continuing discussion and comment after the main communication component. No advance registration is required; the seminar is first-come, first-serve seating.
