Friday will be the last day for UNMC employees, faculty and students to buy tickets to the Omaha Community Playhouse’s April 18 sponsor performance of “A Night with the Family.”
Tickets for the sponsor performance are only $5 each for UNMC employees, faculty and students and can be purchased at The Center for Healthy Living until 5 p.m. on Friday.
Sales scheduled for next week at other campus sites have been canceled.
The hilarious comedy, written by Matthew Ivan Bennett, is having its world premiere at the playhouse. The action follows a quirky family – a hippie father addicted to fake swear words, an overbearing mother with a French-Canadian ballet-dancing fiance, a coddled son prone to panic attacks and a level-headed daughter trying to make sense of it all.
