Speaker to discuss assistance available for elderly, caregivers

Diane Hendricks, medical social worker at the Home Instead Center for Successful Aging, will speak on community resources to assist the aging population from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The presentation is part of UNMC’s EngAge Wellness Program speaker series. Hendricks’ presentation will be at the EngAge Wellness Multipurpose Room at the Home Instead Center for Successful Aging at 38th Avenue and Leavenworth Street.

    Diane is an incedible resource to anyone with an aging parent who does not know where to begin. She gave me handouts with lists of contacts for various needs and pointers on what to look for when relocating a loved one to a different living situation. She was so helpful!
