Nursing conference set for July

Registration is now open for the 18th Annual Pharmacological Conference for Advanced Practice Nurses,” which will be held live in Omaha and broadcast via video to locations across Nebraska, including Kearney, Lincoln, Norfolk and Scottsbluff.

Featured presenters at the conference will include:

  • Howard Liu, M.D., UNMC department of psychiatry;
  • Natalie Mandolfo, Nebraska Cancer Specialists;
  • Mark Malesker, Pharm.D., Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions;
  • Keith Olsen, Pharm.D., UNMC College of Pharmacy;
  • Stephen Rennard, M.D., UNMC department of internal medicine;
  • Stephen Salzbrenner, M.D., Lasting Hope, Alegent Creighton Health; and

The conference is provided for 13.75 contact hours under ANCC criteria, with 12.75 contact hours related to pharmacotherapeutic content. Certificates of contact hours are to be provided for each day attended, and registrants will need to complete the online evaluation for each day in order to print their certificate of attendance.

Registration details:

  • Registration is $180 or $90/day on or before July 5. The fee includes continental breakfast, lunches, snacks and CE credits;
  • Registration is $190 or $95/day after July 5 – no exception;
  • Walk-in registration will be accepted at door (checks only);
  • Food, program materials and space cannot be guaranteed for walk-ins; and
