Fontenelle Forest representatives on campus Thursday

From 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, Fontenelle Forest will host a membership table on the Scott Student Plaza.

Membership representative Joan Soverns will highlight membership benefits and promote the $5 discount for UNMC employees through the current corporate membership drive.

There will be an informational table with displays and brochures about the mission of Fontenelle Forest and the opportunities to be a member of this private non-profit nature preserve.

One of the turtles that lives permanently at the Nature Center also will visit.

Employees and students of UNMC receive reduced pricing on select membership levels at Fontenelle Forest from June 1 through June 30.

Prices:

  • Individual $30 (a saving of $5): Admits one adult for an entire year;
  • Two Individuals $40 (a saving of $5): Admits two adults living in the same household for an entire year; and
  • Household $50 (a saving of $5): Admits two adults living in the same household and grandchildren or dependent children under 18 for an entire year

Membership is tax-deductible.
