ITS class will help in designing a database

Do you need to keep track of patient, student, departmental or research data?

Come to an ITS “Designing a Database” class from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Learn how to get started in the design of a new database, whether small or complex. Learn what to consider when deciding to use a flat database such as Excel versus a relational database such as Access.

You will not learn how to use Excel or Access in this session, but rather learn some database theory and recommendations when planning your database. This session, available to UNMC and UNMC Physicians staff, faculty, and students, will be presented in the ITS training room, 8011 Wittson Hall.
