The hosts of the recent “Everybody Loves the New UNMC Budget Form” training session are featuring a “re-run” from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11, for those who missed the first training opportunity or feel they could benefit from another session.
The session will introduce the new UNMC budget form as well as bolster participants’ knowledge of proper sponsored programs budgeting. Participants reported the format enhanced their learning and was fun. The training session will answer these questions:
- Why was the budget form changed?
- What process did we follow?
- How is the budget spreadsheet organized?
- How do I navigate the new form?
- When will I start using the new form?

This training session can be beneficial to all personnel who work with sponsored project funds. Budget officials anticipate that the campus community will be using the new budget for projects submitted for the Oct. 1 deadline.
