For those who missed the excitement during last week’s International Week, all the action has been captured in photos.

Hopefully, they’ll inspire even more people to attend next year’s events, designed to celebrate the rich diversity present on the UNMC campus.

A breakdown of attendees at each event:

  • Two international teas held on Nov. 12 saw more than 100 people, many of whom were dressed in ethnic attire.
  • More than 30 people turned out for two movies — “Jean de Florette” and “Samsara.”
  • More than 80 passports were turned in and 46 people participated in the International Photography contest.
  • But by far the biggest hit of the week was the sports tournament on Nov. 15, which saw more than 125 people — either playing badminton, ping pong or attending as spectators cheering on their favorite players.
