The campus is invited to a retirement celebration for Stephen B. Smith, M.D., to be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Friday in the Clarkson Tower, lower Storz.
Dr. Smith retired on Dec. 31 after 33 years — 17 years with Clarkson and University Hospitals, and at The Nebraska Medical Center as its chief medical officer for the last 16 years.
“I have worked closely with many dedicated professionals during this time and value these relationships,” Dr. Smith said in an email last month.
