Employees and students of UNMC and The Nebraska Medical Center are invited to register for free art classes. Classes are offered as part of UNMC’s campus partnership with the Joslyn Art Museum.
In the spirit of plein air painters, experience pastel drawing outdoors. Learn from instructor Ron Sykes to layer and combine color as you draw from observation, capturing the landscape around the Ruth and Bill Scott Student Plaza with pastels as your medium.
When: 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays from June 3 to 24.
Where: Ruth and Bill Scott Student Plaza (In cases of inclement weather, classes will move to the Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education, second floor)
Registration: Class size is limited to 16 participants. Registration is required — email the UNMC events manager to sign up. All materials are provided.
