Employees at The Nebraska Medical Center should make sure that all of their e-mail contacts have their new e-mail address.
Beginning Feb. 27, any incoming e-mail to the hospital using the old “nhsnet.org” extension will be returned as undeliverable. Going forward from that date, only e-mails using the “nebraskamed.com” extension will be successfully delivered.
Anyone who has subscribed to an e-mail list serve or digest may need to re-subscribe on March 1 if they are still listed under the old extension. Also, if you use auto signature as a part of your e-mail address, be sure that it is updated to include the new extension.
