UNMC’s Board of Counselors held its annual meeting in May, naming new officers and welcoming nine new members.
The board — a group of community and business leaders from across the state who advise UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., on health care issues of importance — named Omaha’s Freddie Gray as chairperson. Dave Wimmer of West Point will serve as vice chair.
