Commencement ceremonies to be streamed live

In a first for UNMC, commencement ceremonies will be live streamed, on May 9 from Lincoln and on May 10 from Omaha.

Parents and friends of the graduates will be able to watch the ceremony in real time.

“At the commencement ceremony our colleges will be graduating students from across the country and around the world,” said Cheryl Thompson, Ph.D., assistant vice chancellor of academic affairs. “Providing this live stream will allow family members who cannot be present at the event to share in the moment and celebrate our graduates’ acheivements.”
