In the fight against cancer, silence is the last thing we need. The American Cancer Society Relay for Life event is a great place to take action and make noise.
Show your support by joining the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center Relay for Life team. All employees of UNMC, The Nebraska Medical Center and UNMC Physicians are welcome and encouraged to attend. The event will be June 7 at Elkhorn South High School from 4 p.m. to midnight. A number of family events are scheduled to kick off the evening.

Participants also can choose to honor their loved ones by dedicating luminaria, paper bags containing votive candles. Each luminaria is personalized with a name, photo, message or drawing in memory or in honor of a friend or loved one who has been affected by cancer.
