Approximately 425 people attended the UNMC Participant’s Night at the Durham Museum, an annual event in which the museum welcomes members of the UNMC community.

The event, held July 28 at the museum, featured complimentary food, family-friendly programming and The Durham’s latest exhibition, Design Zone, from the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.

“The Durham Museum is a valued partner for UNMC,” said Anna Kirshenbaum, public relations events coordinator. “With their on-campus lectures, such as July’s presentation on designing and building monuments, and events like Participant’s Night, they offer educational and fun activities for members of the UNMC community.”

UNMC and the Durham Museum are partners in the Time Travelers program. The program provides free museum admission for medical center employees, students and their immediate family with a valid identification badge, while also offering lectures, workshops and other events on the medical center campus.
