The University of Nebraska Board of Regents and Interim President James Linder, M.D., cordially invite all employees and students to attend the installation of Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., as the eighth chancellor of UNMC.
The event will be held Friday, Sept. 5, at 10:30 a.m. at the Joslyn Art Museum’s Witherspoon Concert Hall. A reception will follow in the Storz Fountain Court.
Shuttles will be available to transport employees and students to and from the Joslyn Art Museum. Shuttles will run on a loop from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and again from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Pick up and drop off location will be the curb cut-out to the south of the Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education. To make a reservation for the shuttle, please email the events coordinator.
The campus is encouraged to attend a campus reception that same day at 2:30 p.m. on the Scott Student Plaza. Refreshments will be provided, and Dr. Gold will make remarks at 3 p.m. (In the event of rain, the reception will be held in the Truhlsen Campus Events Center in the Sorrell building.)
