The series, entitled “Do Something Different . . . For a Change: Employee Engagement, Resiliency and Trust in the Workplace,” will begin with a presentation entitled “Thriving Through Change.”

National author and consultant Scott Carbonara will speak from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Lower Storz Pavilion.

His discussion will include tactics on how to engage during change to provide effective leadership no matter what challenges and transitions are encountered.

People look around themselves for answers when the ground starts to shake from the latest implementation, funding crisis, or government mandate.

Are you prepared to engage yourself — and then engage others — so you can succeed regardless of any obstacle? Learn some key lessons found in positive psychology about how to engage by investing in the people-side of change.

Future Learn@Lunch presentations will be held on Oct. 23 and Nov. 18.
