Light The Night Walk set for Thursday

Join the medical center’s Light The Night Walk team on Thursday, Sept. 18 to honor blood cancer survivors and those lost to the diseases.

A fundraising campaign of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), the event shines a light on the importance of finding cures and providing access to treatments for blood cancer patients.

The Omaha Metro Walk will be held this Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Werner Park, 12356 Ballpark Way in Papillion (just north of Highway 370 in Sarpy County).

Funds raised through the Light The Night Walk:

  • Support breakthrough therapies for blood cancer patients.
  • Provide free educational materials, support programs and events.
  • Power advocacy to ensure access to treatments.
  • Help provide personalized assistance through the organization’s Information Resource Center.
