The Transportation & Parking Committee is requesting the med center community’s input through participation in a transportation and parking survey, which will be e-mailed later today to all UNMC/clinical enterprise faculty, staff and students.
The feedback received will be used to make parking enhancements and offer more travel options that will satisfy the needs of patients, staff, students and visitors while reducing the overall demand for parking on campus.
Please complete the anonymous survey, which was created by sustainability consultants Verdis Group, by Friday at 5 p.m.
Then, plan to attend one of the hour-long transportation and parking forums to hear ideas, ask questions and learn results of the survey. The forums are scheduled for:
- Wednesday, Oct. 8: 10 a.m., Truhlsen Events Center in the Sorrell Center.
- Thursday, Oct. 9: Noon, Lower Storz Pavilion.
- Thursday, Oct. 9: 3 p.m., Durham Research Center auditorium.
- Thursday, Oct. 9: 11 p.m., Private Dining Rooms.
