Historical marker ceremony today
A reception celebrating the dedication of a Nebraska State Historical Marker commemorating the 100th anniversary of Poynter Hall will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at the walkway between Poynter and Wittson Hall. A short dedication program presented by Robert Wigton, M.D., John Schleicher and other dignitaries will be followed by a reception. The marker was made possible by the Wigton History of Medicine Fund and the McGoogan Library’s Special Collections Department.

DRC dock now towing zone
Due to changes in dock use and reoccurring issues, UNMC Parking Services has announced that the Durham Research Center and Durham Research Center II dock areas are a towing zone, effective immediately. If vehicles are found parked improperly in the dock (e.g. without prior authorization or without a specific permit to park in the dock area), they will be towed without warning. This towing zone will be effective 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
