UNMC Fall Fest will be held on Oct. 30.
Events will include:
Wake up with Treats: Cinnamon rolls, scones, hot chocolate and coffee from 7 to 8:30 a.m. at the Sorrell Center and 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Durham Research Center. (The UNMC bookstore will be selling items at the DRC.)
Fall Fest fun: From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., events will include:
- A costume contest at noon, with a chance to win two Nebraska vs. Minnesota football tickets and prizes from local businesses. Come dressed in your best costume — prizes will be awarded to the top three costumes, as well as a “people’s choice” costume winner. (Judging will be at the Ruth and Bill Scott Student Plaza ice rink.)
- Pumpkin decorating contest voting — come vote for your favorite. (Contest voting will be at the Ruth and Bill Scott Student Plaza ice rink.)
- A make-your-own caramel apple bar. (The bar will be at the Sorrell Center Alumni Commons, second floor.)
The bookstore will be on hand to sell UNMC gear in the Sorrell Center Alumni Commons, second floor.
