The Olson Center for Women’s Health will be hosting presentations on pelvic floor disorders (PFD) on Nov. 11 and 13.

Presented by the Pelvic Floor Disorder Alliance, the program will feature UNMC’s Kristin Rooney, M.D., assistant professor of obstetrics/gynecology, Jennifer Cera, a nurse specialist/instructor in the UNMC College of Nursing, and Nebraska Medicine physical therapist Elizabeth Hopkins providing expert advice about PFD signs, symptoms, and treatment options.

The program also will include discussion with women who have overcome a PFD, as well as a demonstration of quick and easy pelvic floor exercises and tips.

The program will be presented from 6 to 7 p.m. on both nights at the Olson Center classroom on the fourth floor of the Durham Outpatient Center. To register for either night or for more information, please visit the Olson Center website or call 402-559-6345.
