NU presidential candidate visits UNMC today

George Ross, Ph.D., is one of four finalists for University of Nebraska president.

He will visit the UNMC campus today. All students, faculty and staff are invited to a public forum from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Paustian Amphitheater (Room 3002) in the Sorrell Center.

Ross’ visit will include stops and public forums at each University of Nebraska campus. Following the visit, the Board of Regents invites Nebraskans to submit their feedback via an online form that will be available here.

Dr. Ross became the 14th president of Central Michigan University in 2010. His leadership of one of the nation’s 100 largest public universities follows 24 years of higher education leadership and management experience.
