Presentation explores personal safety during holidays

Although the holidays are a time of joy and good cheer, it’s important to be aware of personal safety issues that can arise from cold weather, early darkness, or even large crowds.

Campus security Sgt. John Ingraham will offer tips for personal safety at home, while shopping, during travel, and at work at the next Olson Center brown bag luncheon, to be held from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, in the UNMC Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater.

Sgt. Ingraham’s tips will help keep you and your belongings safe as you enjoy the holiday season.

Seating is limited. Please pre-register by calling the Olson Center at 402-559-6345. Bring your lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Please note: Nursing credit will not be provided for this presentation.
