Sodexo opens ‘Micro Mart’ at DRC Friday

Friday is the grand opening for Sodexo’s new Micro Market, located in the Durham Research Center, Room 1008.

The market will open at 8 a.m., offering coffee, food, beverages and other items 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

There also will be a drawing for a Kindle Fire HD during the store’s first week, along with other prizes. Drawings will be held using receipts from the store and will continue throughout the week.

“Sodexo also is working to respond to the needs of the campus community,” said Thomas Hoffman, Sodexo’s director of food and nutrition services on campus. “We think this new Micro Market will be a useful addition to our other campus outlets and will be a great convenience to faculty, staff and students both at the Durham Research Center and throughout the campus.”
