SciFest, UNO hockey team on Friday

Gearing up for its third year, the Nebraska Science Festival (to be held April 10-18) will feature an array of science and technology-related activities in communities across the state.

On March 6, attendees of the men’s hockey game between the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Colorado College at the CenturyLink Center can enjoy a sneak preview of the festival.

A variety of hands-on activities will be available at the SciFest booth located at the top of the main escalators and just to the south of where people pass through the gate attendants. The activities are provided by:

  • University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering;
  • The University of Nebraska Omaha Office of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics);
  • Omaha Children’s Museum;
  • Strategic Air & Space Museum;
  • Nebraska Science Festival; and
  • UNMC
