What if there was one medicine that was extremely powerful in treating and even preventing disease?

There is, and it’s exercise!

At the next Olson Center brown bag, to be held on April 21 from noon to 1 p.m. in the UNMC Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater, Jeannie Hannan, Ph.D., of the UNMC EngAge Wellness Program, will discuss “Exercise: The Best Medicine!” She will discuss the leading causes of death and explain how exercise can lower these risk factors.

Seating is limited. Please pre-register by calling the Olson Center at 402-559-6345.

The lecture is free. However, it costs $10 to obtain nursing credit. Payment instructions will be given during pre-registration.

Note: The UNMC College of Nursing Continuing Nursing Education is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). This activity is provided for 1.0 contact hour under ANCC criteria.
