Students and employees of UNMC and Nebraska Medicine are invited to register for free art classes. Classes are offered as part of our campus partnership with the Joslyn Art Museum.
In the spirit of plein air painting, participants will experience pastel drawing outdoors. They will learn drawing from observation, while layering and combining color. Using pastels, participants will be asked to draw the landscape around the Ruth and Bill Scott Student Plaza.
When: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays (June 2, 9, 16 and 23)
Where: Ruth and Bill Scott Student Plaza (Inclement weather: Sorrell Center second floor)

Registration: Class size is limited to 16 participants. Registration is required. Email the UNMC events coordinator to sign up. All materials are provided.
