Diversity series closes with PFLAG presentation

The 2015 Diversity Lectures and Cultural Arts Series concludes June 4 with a Gay & Lesbian Pride Month presentation by PFLAG from noon to 1 p.m. in the Durham Research Center Auditorium.

The presentation will help attendees increase awareness of the topics of sexual orientation and gender identity. PFLAG’s mission is to educate and raise awareness of LGBTQ issues for thousands around the Midwest and across the country.

The Diversity Lectures Series features scholarly lectures and presentations addressing contemporary issues of diversity and cultural performances highlighting the diverse cultures present in the community. The goal of the series is to encourage discussions and serve as a tool to inform faculty, staff and students about different perspectives, cultures and social issues.
The series is sponsored by UNMC Human Resources.
