Every two seconds, someone in America needs blood. Blood from American Red Cross drives helps millions of patients in more than 2,600 hospitals in the country, including Nebraska Medicine. It takes about an hour to give blood, and each donation can help save up to three lives.
The Red Cross will be hosting a blood drive in lower Storz Pavilion Sept. 1 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Please bring your Red Cross donor card or photo ID.
Drink plenty of fluids and eat a large meal before donating. First-time donors are always welcome. Double red cells will be collected at this blood drive.
