UNMC is currently taking part in the 2015 United Way Campaign. Each week during the campaign, we will feature members of the UNMC community who are United Way supporters.

As of 3 p.m. Tuesday, UNMC achieved:
- Donations of $133,472.50, more than 86 percent of the campaign goal of $155,000.
- Employee participation of 37 percent. This year’s employee participation goal is 50 percent. Remember, using the UNMC eServ website to choose not to donate counts as participation.
Favorite United Way community partners:
The programs are all good. In particular, it’s great that they offer the 2-1-1 call center to provide a simple way for people to access information on services. It must be so overwhelming for folks to figure out where and how to get help. The United Way will guide them.
Why we support the United Way:
There are so many vulnerable people in our community. The United Way does a terrific job of providing services to a wide variety of people in need. The payroll deduction option at UNMC makes it really easy for employees to donate without feeling a pinch in their wallet.
