Candid Conversations with the Chancellor begin Jan. 26

Faculty, staff and students at UNMC and Nebraska Medicine are invited to attend what will be the the first “Candid Conversations with the Chancellor” open forum later this month.

The Jan. 26 noontime forum will provide an opportunity to ask Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., questions about campus happenings in a casual setting. Registration is required, as seating is limited and lunch will be provided. The forum also will be live streamed. Copy and paste this link to your internet browser: http://www.unmc.edu/livevideo/unmc_live1.html.

“These listening sessions, which will be held periodically, will allow us to hear what’s on your mind and answer questions you may have on various campus-related topics,” Dr. Gold said. “These conversations can both challenge and inspire the UNMC and Nebraska Medicine community as we work together to lead the world in transforming lives. I look forward to these discussions!”

The Jan. 26 session will be in the Sorrell Center, Room 2018. RSVP here. A confirmation of attendance will be sent to the first 80 registrants. Others will be placed on a waiting list and notified if space becomes available.

Please submit forum questions, both now and through the event, via the UNMC mobile app (click on the Ideas button and select “Candid Conversations with the Chancellor”) or woneill@unmc.edu (subject line: Candid Conversations).
