Rat Pack Jazz to perform today on campus

UNMC’s popular “Music as Medicine” series continues today with Rat Pack Jazz, featuring “music from the golden age of song” performed at the Durham Outpatient Center West Atrium from noon to 1 p.m.

Rat Pack Jazz includes vocalist Johnny Adams, Ron Colley on the guitar, Dennis Strawn on the saxophone, flute and clarinet, Andy Hall on the upright bass and Carlos Figueroa on drums and percussion.

Patients, staff, students and family members are invited to bring lunch and “let music be your medicine.”

The event is sponsored by the UNMC College of Medicine.
