Voice recognition software to launch on Monday

Nebraska Medicine has recently acquired Dragon Medical voice recognition software. This software is designed to create a better provider experience with One Chart by speech-enabling the electronic medical record.

It will allow for a natural, clinically-focused approach to capturing the complete patient story — improving quality care, physician satisfaction, financial integrity and compliance.

A broad rollout of Dragon Medical will go live Monday throughout Nebraska Medicine. Provider training for physicians, residents, fellows, nurse practitioners and physician asistants will run from Monday through March 15.

Providers interested in getting the voice recognition software, can contact Cori McBride, M.D., or Robin Stoupa, project manager, to get access.
