Chef’s visit part of Sodexo’s Global Chef Program

The Food Services staff is excited to once again host an international chef as part of Sodexo’s Global Chef program. Chef Esteban Rodriguez Rojas will create Costa Rican menus for Nebraska Cafe and Clarkson Cafe on March 7 and in Bellevue on March 8.

“We are very fortunate to be able to once again host an internationally-known chef here at Nebraska Medicine,” said Thomas Hoffman, director of food and nutrition. “I am confident our diners will enjoy his unique creations.”

Every year, Sodexo chooses executive chefs to travel to other countries for its Global Chef program. In October, the campus hosted German Sous Chef Fatih Kurt. “The experience provides our culinary staff an opportunity to learn new techniques and our guests get to sample cuisines from around the world,” Hoffman said.
