The skin is your body’s largest organ — but how much do you know about it and how to take care of it?

With the long summer days ahead of us, the potential for sun damage is real. Nurse practitioner Kristen Hammes, from Dreams MedSpa, will speak about cancer prevention and treatments available for improving overall skin health and longevity at the next Olson Center Brown Bag lunch, at noon on April 19 in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater.

Seating is limited; please pre-register by calling the Olson Center at 402-559-6345. Bring your lunch and simple refreshments will be provided.

The lectures are free. To obtain nursing credit, the cost is $10. Payment instructions will be given at preregistration.

Note: The UNMC College of Nursing Continuing Nursing Education is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This activity is provided for 1.0 contact hour under ANCC criteria.
