Pamela Buffett expressed excitement and gratitude on a recent tour of the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center.
She was accompanied by her brother, Peter Bartling, on a tour led by the center’s director, Ken Cowan, M.D., Ph.D., and construction officials. Pamela Buffett’s attorney, Robert Freeman, and friend, Dennis Hills-Cooper, also were in attendance.
Pamela Buffett was thrilled and at times emotional about the project that honors the memory of her late husband, Fred, who died of kidney cancer in 1997.
