Navigating health care guidelines for women

Rachel Bonnema, M.D., UNMC Department of Internal Medicine, will outline some of the most important preventive health care guidelines for women, as well as certain risk factors and questions to consider, at the Olson Center Brown Bag luncheon at noon on May 17 in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater.

In the last few years, women have faced a number of changes in gender-specific recommendations for health care prevention. Understanding guidelines, and knowing what questions to ask of their physicians, can be difficult for any woman, but it can be increasingly difficult as she attempts to personalize guidelines to her unique situations.

Seating is limited. Please pre-register by calling the Olson Center at 402-559-6345. Bring your lunch. Simple refreshments will be provided.

The lectures are free, but the cost to obtain nursing credit is $10. Payment instructions will be given during preregistration.
