Tell us a bit about what you do here at UNMC.
I am the brand manager for UNMC. I can’t believe how much fun I have at my job. A day in my life can never be planned, someone on campus always needs something immediately. You know it’s true! The main component in everything I do is to protect UNMC’s brand. Whether it’s a logo or an annual report, I’m involved in making sure it’s brand compliant and represents UNMC in the best possible way. Teamwork is one of UNMC’s brand values. Tell us of a time you witnessed a person or group demonstrating teamwork at UNMC.
It might be easier to tell you a time I didn’t witness teamwork. Teamwork is who we are at UNMC. I see it every day, everywhere on campus. In my department, Public Relations, if you say, “I need help,” we are there for you.

What is your favorite summer activity?
I love everything summer has to offer. Since I have to pick one, it would be sitting at the edge of the ocean, in my Adirondack chair, letting the waves roll over my feet.

List three things people may not know about you.

• I grew up in Central New York farm country and had a pet duck named Timmy.
• My husband lived across the hall from me in college. Wow, that was 26 years ago.
• My husband, Rich, and I have two sons in high school, two Shelties and one bossy cat.
