Golf tournament will benefit the Meyer Foundation for Disability
The UNMC Phi Rho Sigma Chapter is holding its second annual golf tournament on Oct. 9. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Meyer Foundation for Disabilities, which supports programming at UNMC’s Munroe-Meyer Institute. The event will have a 1 p.m. shotgun start, with a dinner served at 5:30 p.m., and will be held at Benson Golf Course. For more information, including registration information, click here.
Retirements announced
The UNMC Department of Human Resources has released the list of retirements for August. It’s a short list this month with only two people retiring:
- Susan Johnston, printing services, retires Aug. 12 (start date Nov. 22, 1993);
- Kathy Minikus, health services research & administration, College of Public Health, retired Aug. 5 (start date Feb. 1, 2002).
