Beginning Wednesday, west access to the Lot 2 (Green) parking structure from 45th Street (Durham Research Plaza) will be closed through Wednesday, Oct. 5.
All patients, visitors and staff will need to access the Lot 2 parking structure from the east entrance via the Durham Outpatient Center (DOC) Circle Drive.
Contractors will continue improvements and repairs to the Lot 2 parking structure to improve the patient experience. These improvements include new traffic coatings to increase the number of parking stalls, painting the garage white, installing new wayfinding signage, and reversing the traffic direction for improved flow and ease of navigation for both pedestrian and vehicular traffic. The enhancements are comprised of regularly scheduled maintenance, as well as upgrades related to the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center project.
DOC circle drive concrete work will create closure on two weekends
Full closure of the Durham Outpatient Center circle drive is needed on the following weekends:
- Oct. 8-9 from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
- From 6 p.m. Oct. 14 to noon Oct. 16.
