• Hospital medicine (attending hospitalist on general medicine and pediatric teams at UNMC)

How I fell in love with medicine:
It was my first time in clinic, shadowing one of my hometown health care providers after declaring pre-medicine in college. It was so awesome to use what we learned in the classroom to make a difference in people’s lives.

Three things people may not know about me:

• I did my undergraduate work in Kentucky.
• I’ve ridden my bike across Nebraska more than once.
• I lived for four months in a city above 13,000 feet. (El Alto, Bolivia.)
