Appreciation week continues today with a Community Partners Lunch.
Stop by the Sorrell Center Alumni Commons from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. for free food samples (while supplies last) from local restaurants including Blackstone Meatball, Crescent Moon, CRAVE and more. Visit with community partners and businesses from Midtown Crossing and the Blackstone District to learn what they have to offer. The bookstore will be on-site to sell merchandise as well.
Remember, there are several other activities during the week that will offer free prizes. These include:
- Be the first to spot one of 12 hidden ITEACH icons in campus buildings and win a prize.
- Pick up a free UNMC car window decal (while supplies last) at any of the Appreciation Week events and display it on your car. Every day, a few lucky winners will find a “ticket” on their car and win a prize.
- Enjoy a month of free admission to the Center for Healthy Living as part of the grand opening of the new space (Oct. 10 – Nov. 10; existing memberships will be frozen during this time).
