In observance of Veterans Day, Nebraska Medicine and UNMC are proud to honor employees and students who are or have been members of the armed forces. Their commitment to freedom and the sacrifices they make are truly heroic.
To celebrate, a light breakfast and ceremony will take place. The event will be held on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, from 7 to 8:30 a.m. in the Sorrell Center’s Linder Reading Room (not the Truhlsen Events Center, Room 1001, as originally stated). Remarks will begin at 7:30 a.m.
Those employees and students who wish to attend are encouraged to send a photo of themselves in uniform to josevans@nebraskamed.com. Please include your rank, what branch of service you served in and what department you work in.
Any member of the military who wishes to attend this breakfast should RSVP by Nov. 4 to community@nebraskamed.com.
