In observance of Veterans Day, the College of Dentistry would like to honor our employees and students who are or have been members of the armed forces. Their commitment to freedom and the sacrifices they make are truly heroic.
To celebrate, a light breakfast and ceremony will take place. The event will be held on Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11, from 7:30-8:15 a.m. in the College of Dentistry, Classroom 1201, on the college’s Lincoln campus. Remarks will begin at 7:30 a.m.
Those employees and students who wish to attend are encouraged to send a photo of themselves in uniform to Katina Winters, administration associate, by Nov. 8. Please include your rank, what branch of service you served in and what department you work in. Please also indicate if you are willing to share a brief two- to three-minute introduction of yourself, including your service and duty.
Any member of the military who wishes to attend this breakfast should RSVP by Nov. 8 to Winters.
