Palladium Brass to perform at Music as Medicine

UNMC’s popular “Music as Medicine” series continues Nov. 17 with the Omaha Chamber Music Society’s Palladium Brass performing at the Durham Outpatient Center’s West Atrium from noon to 1 p.m.

“Palladium Brass” features Michael Thompson on trumpet, Tom Kelly on trumpet, Noel Johnson on trombone, Tim Dickmeyer on bass trombone and Dr. Alan Mattingly on French horn.

Patients, staff, students and family members are invited to bring lunch and “let music be your medicine.”

The performance is sponsored by UNMC’s College of Medicine, with support from UNMC’s Human Resources Department.

Are you still sending e-mail notices about the Music as Medicine, or is it not open to the public anymore? I have attended for several years, but have not heard from you this fall. Marilyn Urwin, Blair, NE
