The holidays are fast approaching. What better way to celebrate than to attend the holiday events hosted by a few of UNMC’s community partners?
The Durham Museum and Joslyn Art Museum provide free museum admission for UNMC and Nebraska Medicine employees, students, and their immediate family with a valid identification badge. As always, there will be several holiday events geared to the entire family.
At the Durham, enjoy loads of entertainment and celebrate Christmas at Union Station through Dec. 31. Visit Santa, enjoy holiday music under the glow of The Durham’s Christmas tree, or view the ethnic holiday tree exhibit.
At the Joslyn, enjoy a holiday concert series every Wednesday and Friday until Dec. 21. On Dec. 4, visit the museum for the Holiday Lights Family Festival for a day filled with free art-making, music, and gallery viewing.
In addition to these events, be sure to check out the holiday happenings at the Rose Theater, Lauritzen Gardens and Fontenelle Forest.
