Gender identity and employees in the workplace

Making the University of Nebraska one of the best places to be an employee requires commitment to treating everyone fairly, and incorporating policies and practices that create an equitable and inclusive workplace.

On Feb. 9, the University of Nebraska will sponsor “Gender Identity and Employees in the Workplace” for all NU employees. The presentation, which runs from 9 a.m. to noon in the Center for Nursing Science, Room 3030, on UNMC’s Omaha campus, will feature attorney Jessica Kallstrom-Schreckengost.

The presentation will be live streamed via http://www.unmc.edu/livevideo/unmc_live1.html for those unable to attend. It also will be taped and archived for later viewing.

For more information, contact Stancia Whitcomb Jenkins, associate to the president/assistant vice president for diversity, access and inclusion at sjenkins@nebraska.edu or 402-472-5270.
