Beginning this month, Joslyn Art Museum is partnering with UNMC, The Nebraska Medical Center and University Medical Associates to offer employees a cultural passport.

In 2005, Joslyn Art Museum will be bringing the arts to campus by offering art-focused cultural opportunities to employees, students and their families. The partnership accommodates special events at the museum, as well as at UNMC, The Nebraska Medical Center and UMA. Watch UNMC Today for upcoming events.

In addition, employees, students and their families will be admitted free to Joslyn Art Museum and ticketed exhibitions in 2005 by showing their employee ID badge at the museum’s entrance desk. A free admission includes two adults and accompanying children.

“We’re pleased to be able to offer employees art-focused cultural opportunities through the Joslyn Art Museum,” said Don Leuenberger, vice chancellor for Business and Finance at UNMC. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for employees and their families to become more familiar with one of Omaha’s finest museums.”

Employees and students also will be offered a special discounted rate for 2005 Joslyn Art Museum memberships. The half-priced general membership will provide employees with such additional benefits as a 10 percent discount in the gift shop and cafe, reduced prices for art classes and special events and a quarterly magazine providing advance notice of exhibitions and programs.
