Jean Amoura, M.D.

What is gender identity and gender expression, and why would someone want to express a gender different than what they were assigned at birth?

Jean Amoura, M.D, associate professor in the UNMC Department of Obstetrics/Gynecology, will explain the terminology associated with transgender males and females and the many barriers that affect them at the next Olson Center Brown Bag lecture, to be held at noon on Feb. 21 in the Eppley Science Hall.

Seating is limited; please pre-register by calling the Olson Center at 559-6345. Bring your lunch. Simple refreshments will be provided.

The lectures are free, but there is a $10 fee to obtain nursing credit. Payment instructions will be given at pre-registration.

Will this presentation be available for staff at the University Health Center? Could it be videoed so we can view it later? Thanks for the consideration!
